The VA Building Utilization Review and Repurposing (BURR) initiative has identified one building and associated land on the Brockton campus for a long-term ground lease under the Enhanced-Use Leasing (EUL) program.  VA is soliciting qualified developers to submit proposals to finance, design, develop, construct, equip, furnish and maintain a new permanent supportive housing project for homeless Veterans and Veterans at risk of homelessness, and their families, on a priority basis.

The VA Boston Healthcare System, the largest consolidated facility in VISN 1, encompasses 3 main campuses and 6 outpatient clinics within a 40 mile radius of the greater Boston area.  The Brockton campus is located 20 miles south of Boston in the City of Brockton.  This campus provides outpatient services and has 418 operating beds, including 126 Inpatient Mental Health beds, 114 Community Living Center beds, and 86 Domiciliary beds (including Homeless Domiciliary, Women’s PTSD Program, Center for Integrated Residential Care for Addictions, and Men's Transitional Residence).  Specialized services include geriatrics, a Substance Abuse Clinic, and a Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Program.  See http://www.va.gov/directory/guide/facility.asp?ID=19 for more information on the campus.
