MSWorld Organization

MSWorld is a nonprofit organization that provides support and information for people living with multiple sclerosis. MSWorld offers chat rooms, message boards, a resource center, an arcade, a Creative Center, and social networking. They encourage site users to share contributions, and most importantly, become part of a community of people who are willing to share day-to-day challenges living with MS.  It is managed by volunteers all diagnosed with MS, and provides online support and information to more than 70,000 people worldwide living with MS.  They have been the official chat and message board provider for the National MS Society since 2001, and also provide a Veterans chat room too. 

• *All volunteers who manage the MSWorld website are living with MS, in the process of being diagnosed MS, or are caregivers for people with MS. They understand what it means to live with this disease and are available to support people with MS the best they can. 
  
  
• *MSWorld is unique because it has been a Patients Helping Patients organization from its inception in 1996 committed to helping people out of isolation through peer support and access to a variety of resources. 
  
  
• *They strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment by maintaining a G-rated site and offering the latest information and referrals for site users. They encourage visitors to become part of their vital community.
