The Veterans Healthcare Administration (VHA) National Center for Organization Development (NCOD) supports and delivers organization health and development initiatives for the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Specifically, our goal is to strengthen VA workforce engagement, satisfaction, and development in order to improve Veterans' Services.
The NCOD offers contemporary and innovative data driven assessments and consultation services to VA organizations nationwide. Our services integrate practice, training, and research information. Services are customized to meet individual, workgroup, team, leadership, and facility level needs.
Our staff includes a comprehensive team of professionals: psychologists, heath research scientists, systems specialists, management and program analysts, trainees (pre/post-doctoral), and administrative personnel. Collectively our services encompass the fields of organzation development (OD), industrial and organizational psychology (I-O), health services administration, program evaluation, and others.
NCOD offers a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Organization Development and Consulting. The practice is based on an action research model, and includes executive coaching, leadership development and assessment, team building, strategic planning, large and small group facilitation, work redesign, survey design and analysis, and psycho-educational interventions.
