Denver Acquisition and Logistics Center

Military Boots and U.S. FlagThe VA Denver Acquisition & Logistics Center (DALC) manages holistic supply chain management for the VA National Hearing Aid and Telehealth Programs and supports VA and other Government agencies with professional acquisition and logistical services.  Commodities managed include worldwide distribution of hearing aids, hearing aid accessories, cochlear implants, assistive devices, batteries, prosthetic socks, orthotic soft goods, aids for the visually impaired, and telehealth messaging hubs and peripherals.  Veterans may order many items directly from the DALC and have them shipped to their homes, reducing unnecessary trips to medical facilities and enhancing efficiency of clinical staff.

The DALC manages the VA’s only hearing aid repair program by providing eligibility verification, problem diagnosis, hearing aid programming retrieval, cleaning, repairs, vendor management, and quality control.

Hearing Aid Procurement Summary

This report (as of 06/2016) represents sales of hearing aids, remote controls, and wireless devices (adaptors, receivers, and transmitters) that are processed through the DALC each month.  Sales are reported both by quantity and total dollar value, for each hearing aid manufacturer on contract withVA.  We are distributing this information because we have been asked for it on a regular basis by many different entities.  The report is updated monthly.  For more information, please contact either Kip Sheppard or Stephanie Lawrence at (303) 273-6205.
