Post Deployment Pain
Recent data suggest that a significant percentage of veterans of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom will experience pain conditions that interfere with daily functioning and adversely affect quality of life. The following resources are provided to assist VA providers, researchers, and administrators with the implementation of effective strategic planning, resource allocation, and personnel training to ensure the early identification and treatment of chronic pain among veterans of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
