BDD Program participants in the pre-discharge claims program can expect to receive a great deal of assistance from VA in connection with the filing of their claims. VA Representatives provide the following services to claimants:

• Assist the claimant in the completion of VA Form 21-526, Veteran's Application for Compensation or Pension.
