United States Department of Veterans Affairs

Office of Occupational Safety and Health

The VA Office of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) provides oversight of VA's OSH and Workers' Compensation (WC) programs in support of VA's Designated Agency Safety and Health Official (DASHO). OSH also coordinates Safety and Workers' Compensation Steering Committees to promote effective program management throughout the Department.

OSH partners with other Federal agencies, such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other safety and health-related organizations to promote safe and healthful workplaces and effective management of the workers' compensation program.

VA Employees can access additional information about Occupational Safety & Health, and Workers’ Compensation through the OSH Intranet Site.
