VHA Office of Emergency Management: Public Information and Communications
Public information/communications is responsible for improving emergency communication practices in Veterans Health Administration (VHA) through:
- Identifying gaps in and barriers to effective flow of communication practices with all audiences affected by VA/VHA emergencies.
- Developing solutions to these impediments.
- Promoting best practices in emergency public affairs and communications within and outside of VA/VHA.
