VI - Perry Point
Welcome to Veterans Industries/Compensated Work Therapy! Veterans Industries/Compensated Work Therapy (VI/CWT) is a vocational rehabilitation program of the Department of Veterans Affairs which serves veterans with disabilities, while partnering as a sub-contract vendor for a diverse business and industrial community. VI/CWT provides temporary and permanent staffing for information technology, manufacturing, warehousing, construction, office support, retail and the services delivery industry. In select locations we also provide outsource support in assembly, packaging, sorting, grading, and reclaiming. From over 105 locations throughout the country, veterans in the VI/CWT program produce high quality work within allowable time and price parameters set by the participating company. Professional VI/CWT staff provides service coordination, job matching and worker assessment. Many of the VI/CWT programs nationally are CARF accredited; meeting and exceeding program quality expectations. We are conveniently located within VA medical centers in most large metropolitan areas and many smaller communities. The national Veterans Industries Web Page (http://www.va.gov/vetind) provides a general overview of the Veterans Industries program. Within the range of services VI/CWT provides for industry, there are exceptional advantages; including reliability, convenience and cost savings! VI/CWT helps veterans by providing comprehensive and cutting edge vocational rehabilitation services and supports industry by providing work ready applicants.
