Hours of Operation:
The administrative workweek is Monday through Friday (excluding legal federal
holidays). The hours during which
the medical center is open to the public for the transaction of business and
during which time administrative operations are normally conducted are 7:00 a.m.
through 5:00 p.m. on each of these days.
Visiting Hours:
Visiting hours, established to permit patient visitation, are
determined by varied circumstances, and the area to be visited, are listed under
5b below.
Staff physicians, the head nurse/charge nurse may make exceptions
to established visiting hours and procedures in certain circumstances
Limited Access:
Limited access to the medical center will be maintained
during those hours in which the medical center is closed to the
"public" for the transaction of business, administrative
processes, normal patient visitation, and all but urgent
medical treatment in Urgent Care.
From 8:00 p.m. to 6:00
a.m., all persons other than scheduled duty employees and persons
specifically authorized by the medical center Director to be inside the
medical center will be
required to register with Police & Security,
and record their name and address visitors register. Staff physicians, residents and medical students are
considered scheduled duty employees and may gain entry by the appropriate
identification (ID) badge.
