The William Jennings
Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center (WJB Dorn) is a 216-bed
facility, encompassing acute medical, surgical,
psychiatric, and long-term care. The hospital
provides primary, secondary, and some tertiary care.
In 2005, the medical center served 56,116 patients.
Satellite outpatient clinics are located in
Anderson,
Greenville,
Florence,
Orangeburg,
Sumter and
Rock Hill, SC. The
hospital is also Clinic of Jurisdiction for the
state of South Carolina. Administrative support is
provided for the
Florence National Cemetery
in Florence, SC the Vet Centers located in
Greenville and
Columbia,

SC; and the
VA Regional Office,
also located in Columbia. An affiliation is held
with the University of South Carolina School of
Medicine, located on the hospital grounds. A sharing
agreement is in place with
Moncrief Army Community
Hospital at Fort Jackson and
Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter,
SC.
2007
Enrollee Survey
VHA is conducting
the 2007 national
Survey of Enrollees.
The survey provides
information used in
annual projections
of enrollment,
utilization, and
expenditures. VHA
will randomly sample
42,000 veterans
enrolled in the VA
system. The survey
began on July 8,
2007, and will
continue for 8
