The role of Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) in the Community Prosperity Partnership (CPP) is to assist in providing outreach and communications with veterans and service-connected disabled veterans interested in Government contracting, or with doing business with local VA hospitals and centers. We offer advice and counseling to veterans wishing to start or expand their small business, or to veteran-owned small businesses wishing to contract with the Federal Government.   • NEW - The U.S. Small Business Administration's Puerto Rico & Virgin Islands District Office announces their new "Patriot Express" Loan Initiative, on June 13, 2007 at SBA's facilities in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico.

The Patriot Express is a comprehensive initiative that includes new and enhanced programs and services for veterans and members of the military community wanting to establish or expand small businesses. Eligible military community members include: veterans, service-disabled veterans, active-duty service members participating in the military's Transition Assistance Program, Reservists and National Guard members, current spouses of any of the above, and the widowed spouse of a service member or veteran who died during service or of a service-connected disability.
