The First Federal Hispanic Career Advancement Summit was held on October 1, 2008, at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel in Arlington, VA. One of the goals of this Summit was to champion the advancement and development of Hispanic Americans in the federal sector – especially those at the GS-15 level who are "ready-now" to get promoted to the SES ranks.
While the Summit was an overwhelming success as a result of reaching the 650-registration goal within 48 hrs., there were over 1,000 employees who were left on waiting lists and could not attend. We are mindful of our20responsibility to meet the needs of those who are anxious to make a difference. Consequently, we have uploaded the workshop presentations at http://www.federalhispaniccareeradvancementsummit.org/workshops.htm. Just click on the workshops that interest you, and click on the hyperlink for the pertinent presentation.
