Veterans Resource Expo

Event: Lunch provided by St. Joseph Institute/Tactical Recovery at noon. A benefits presentation will be held during lunch. This is a great opportunity to find out information about your benefits. An expert from the Veterans Benefits Administration Pittsburgh VA Regional Office will be available to provide information regarding service-connected compensation and to offer on-the-spot assistance with individual questions and concerns.

Virtual Rural Veterans Outreach Symposium

Event: This symposium will focus on the importance of reaching out to our Nation’s Veterans who reside in rural and remote areas. Attendees will be educated and empowered about the benefits and services that may be available to them. The symposium will provide information on current and future VA benefits, to include filing a VA disability claim online, the Sergeant First Class (SFC) Heath Robinson Honoring our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act and improving the quality of life for Veterans and dependents through Vet Center services. In addition, there will be presentations on rural healthcare and expanding access to care through virtual technologies.

Veterans Resource Fair

Event: Veterans, families, caregivers, and community partners are invited to attend the Veterans Resource Fair. There will be a wide range of services, resources, and information showcased that Veterans have access to at the Erie VAMC, Veterans Benefits Administration, and through community partnerships. An expert from the Veterans Benefits Administration Pittsburgh VA Regional Office will be available to provide information regarding service-connected compensation and to offer on-the-spot assistance with individual questions and concerns.

Westmoreland County VA Clinic Veterans Town Hall

Date and Time: Tuesday, April 23, 2024 | 4pm-5pm

Location: Westmoreland County VA Clinic | 5274 Route 30, Suite 10 | Greensburg, PA, 15601-7833

Event: Attend in person to receive important updates on plans to build a modern, state-of-the-art, VA-staffed outpatient clinic to serve Veterans in Westmoreland County. Also hear from VAPHS and Pittsburgh VBA Regional Office (RO) leadership about benefits available under the PACT Act. A benefits counselor from the Pittsburgh RO will be available to offer on-the-spot assistance with individual questions and concerns.

Veteran Town Hall

Date and Time: Wednesday, April 24, 2024 | 5pm-6pm

Location: Abie Abraham VA Clinic | 2nd Floor, Auditorium | 353 North Duffy Road, Butler, PA 16001-1138

Event: The Butler VA Health Care System is hosting a Town Hall event. The Butler VA Leadership Team will provide general updates as well as an update on the recent changes with the PACT Act. Pittsburgh VBA Regional Office (RO) Leadership will provide an update on VA claims and benefits. There will also be an open discussion forum for all attendees to address any questions. VA staff will be on hand to listen to Veterans and their families, and provide Veterans with eligibility and enrollment information, as well as other health care program information. A benefits counselor from the Pittsburgh RO will be available to offer on-the-spot assistance with individual questions and concerns. Veterans, their family members, caregivers, and the public are invited.
