Located in downtown Muskogee, Oklahoma, and providing benefits and services to Veterans and their families, the Muskogee VA Regional Office is a major component of the social and economic foundation of Oklahoma.
In addition to providing counseling and rehabilitative services to Veterans, the Muskogee VA Regional Office provides compensation and education benefits to eligible Veterans and their families. Serving approximately 338,700 Oklahoman Veterans, the VA is responsible for $1.5 billion in non-medical expenditures in the state of Oklahoma.
With representatives at seven locations throughout Oklahoma, the Muskogee VA Regional Office provides services and benefits to all 77 counties in the state of Oklahoma, three counties in North Texas for Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment services, and 16 southern and western states and the Philippines for education benefits. The Muskogee VA Regional Office is also home to VA’s only National Education Call Center, which responds to phone call inquiries for the entire Unites States regarding VA education benefits.
As the largest employer in the Muskogee area, and the largest VA regional office in the nation, Muskogee VA Regional Office provides a significant social and economic impact to Oklahoma. With 1,314 employees, the Muskogee VA Regional Office is comprised of a diverse population that is active in the Muskogee community and surrounding areas.
