The Florence Veterans Affairs Primary Care Clinic, located in Florence, South Carolina, was the first community-based outpatient clinic to be opened by the Dorn VA Medical Center. The Florence Veterans Affairs Primary Care Clinic began seeing patients in June 1999 and was officially dedicated in July 1999.

The Clinic provides services to patients in a five-county area, e. g., Florence, Darlington, Marlboro, Chesterfield, and Dillon Counties. The Clinic is housed in space leased from Carolinas Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina and operates as an appointment-primary care clinic, Monday through Friday. It is located in an area of the State which has been medically underserved for some time.

 The Clinic is staffed with a mix of Department of Veterans Affairs and contract employees.
