Secretary's Annual EEO Awards

The Secretary’s Equal Employment Opportunity Awards Program was created in 1988 to recognize the individual achievements by VA employees throughout the Department in attaining VA’s EEO Program goals. Each year, the Office of Diversity Management and Equal Employment Opportunity coordinates nominations for the Secretary’s Annual EEO Awards Program. These awards are the highest recognition given to Department employees who have excelled in promoting or have made significant contributions to VA’s EEO Program.

• Category A: non-supervisory employees
• Category B: Supervisors and managers through GS-14 and equivalent
• Category C: Managers and executives GS-15 and above
• Category D: EEO Program Representatives
• Category E: Employees promoting programs for disabled veterans and people with targeted disabilities
