Brenda Martin is the national internship program coordinator for DM&EEO. She ensures the Department of Veterans Affairs participates in four national and two local internship programs: the American Indian Science and Engineering Society; the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities national internship program; the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education Internship Program for students attending historically Black colleges and universities; the Workforce Recruitment Program for college students with disabilities; the Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars; and the Washington Internships for Native Students Program.
