Milan Srskic
(Acting) Chief, Project Management Service
Milan Srskic currently serves as the Chief of Project Management Service for the
Office of Construction & Facilities Management. In this capacity he is responsible
for design and construction of VHA's major construction projects
in 11 Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISNs) in the western
and mid-Western United States. His responsibilities include managing
negotiations, awarding and administering design and construction contracts.
Since December, 2004, Mr. Srskic has also served as Acting Director, Project Management Service. In this capacity he has oversight for all VA major medical construction across the U.S. Currently this includes over 65 major construction projects valued at nearly $5B, and supervisory responsibilities for over 120 Central Office employees, Project Managers and Resident Engineers at field sites across the nation.
Mr. Srskic was born near Belgrade, Yugoslavia and immigrated to the United States at an early age. He is an architect and a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Mr. Srskic is also a Certified Construction Manager (CMCI). Mr. Srskic has served as an architect, project manager, and other positions of increasing responsibility in VA's Office of Construction and Facilities Management
