Former Central Branch
National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers, one of the original 3 branches, established
in 1867. All pre-1930 buildings were part of the Home which is area of significance. The
old hospital building and Bldg. 116 were designed by C.B. Davis, architect. Peters, Burns
and Pretsinger also had a role in design.
