On–Line Claims Applications
VA now accepts on–line applications for disability compensation, pension, education, and vocational rehabilitation and employment benefits from veterans, survivors and other claimants without the additional requirement to submit a signed paper copy of the application. (more)
Wheelchair Athletes Head to Omaha
More than 500 veterans with physical disabilities will meet in Omaha, Neb., July 25–29, to test themselves in 17 competitive events at the 28th National Veterans Wheelchair Games. The event, sponsored by VA and the Paralyzed Veterans of America, is open to all U.S. military veterans who use wheelchairs for sports competition due to spinal cord injuries, certain neurological conditions, amputations or other mobility impairments.
