The Health Administration Center began accepting electronic Medicare crossover claims on Sept. 27, 2010. This was a much anticipated change that we were very proud and excited to offer. However, the number of claims received from the new electronic crossover process is unexpectedly high. If you have received confirmation from your Remittance Advice (835) that your claim has been forwarded to a supplemental payer, please do not re-submit the claim. The confirmation means that we have received your claim from Medicare and we will process this claim. We appreciate your patience as we grow to accommodate this change.
