About VPS

VA Point of Service enhances the Veterans experience and access to healthcare. Through VPS, VHA provides devices to allow patients to perform tasks such as checking in for appointments, validating information, or reviewing insurance information.

Initial device capabilities include:

• Contact information view and update
• Demographic information view and update
• Insurance review

VetLinks are touch-screen devices that allow patients to perform tasks such as checking in for appointments, validating information, and reviewing/ updating insurance information VetLink software allows system administrators to track usage, update content and software, and receive alerts about any technical issues. Within the healthcare industry, kiosk-like devices are becoming more useful to perform efficient business and patient management functions.
