Kathryn Tortorice, PharmD, BCPS, is Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in the US Department of Veterans Affairs with the National Pharmacy Benefits Management Services in Hines, Illinois, where she is also Chair of the National Drug File Support Group. Dr. Tortorice received her PharmD at the University Of Minnesota College Of Pharmacy in Minneapolis. She subsequently completed a fellowship in the Drug Evaluation Unit at Hennepin County Medical Center and the Regional Kidney Disease Program in Minneapolis. Dr. Tortorice was Clinical Assistant Professor in Pharmacy Practice at the University Of Illinois College Of Pharmacy. She is a board-certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.

Dr. Tortorice has spoken nationally on topics including treatment of Multiple Sclerosis, Hepatitis C, Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacotherapy and Antiplatelet Therapy. She currently serves on the advisory boards for both the Multiple Sclerosis Centers of Excellence and the Epilepsy Centers of Excellence. Dr. Tortorice has been published in several scientific journals, including American Journal of Cardiology, Journal of the American Geriatric Society, Pharmacotherapy, Transplantation, and Journal of Pharmacy Practice.
