While literally every OAL employee is a marketer, primary responsibility for promoting OAL products and services and identifying business opportunities resides with the Business Development and Marketing Team. The marketing initiative is to effectively communicate the message that OAL consistently provides a wide array of quality products and services. Among these are innovative financial solutions, as well as acquisition resources, such as training and review, contracting methodologies, such as Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contracts and prime vendor programs. Additionally, facilitating asset management studies and promoting warehousing capabilities, hearing aid, dental hand piece repair and endoscope repair programs are significant elements of the OAL marketing effort. Finally, identifying resource sharing opportunities with Department of Defense (DOD) activities, other Government agency (OGA) partnership opportunities and conducting regional FSS Vendor Day Events are an integral part of an aggressive and robust business development strategy.
