96-1 VA Manual MP-2, Part 108-30, Rescission

Rescission

1. This notice is issued in accordance with Departmentwide policy and rescinds VA Manual MP-2, Subchapter E, Part 108-30, Federal Catalog System, in its entirety.
2. Major new programs, including electronic catalogs, are currently being developed, and new policies are being formulated in conjunction with these programs. Existing policies, procedures, and responsibilities for the cataloging system will continue as necessary until anticipated functions are finalized. At that time, new policy and procedures will be issued in accordance with the VA Directives Management System.
3. RESCISSION: This notice is rescinded March 30, 1996; however, the information reflected will remain in effect until such time as new policy and procedures are issued.
