Office of the Director
The Director reports to the Assistant Secretary for Management, VA’s Chief Financial Officer and Senior Procurement Executive (CFO/SPE). The Director is responsible for providing leadership and high level management expertise in directing and managing OBO and providing coordination and oversight in the development and implementation of the VA business oversight policies, plans, and procedures. Furthermore, the Director is responsible for advising senior management on review findings and recommendations for improving programs. The Director establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with appropriate program and policy offices and coordinates recommendations with those offices. The Director is also responsible to the VA Finance & Logistics Council chairman for all administrative and logistical matters relating to the VA Finance & Logistics Council’s conduct of business.
