The VA Finance & Logistics Council
The VA Finance & Logistics Council was established as a part of the OBO implementation plan. The VA Finance & Logistics Council consists of the VA CFO and Deputy CFO, Director of Office of Asset Enterprise Management (OAEM), and Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS) for OA&MM. The VA Finance & Logistics Council also includes the three administration CFOs, the VHA Chief Business Officer, and a Chief Logistics Officer (CLO) representative from each administration. The council will manage the oversight and field assistance activities for the various offices. The council will also have responsibility for the allocation of resources between oversight and field assistance, to include the substance, cycle, and scheduling of these activities. Lastly, the council will address general financial management, logistics, acquisition, capital asset management, and budget issues.
