Office of Enterprise Architecture Management
The
Office of Enterprise Architecture Management
oversees and manages the development and implementation
of the IT standards, and the strategic planning
policy of the Department’s EA activities
as required by the Clinger-Cohen Act.
The
Enterprise Architecture Service is responsible
for:
- Providing
management leadership and expert advice in
enterprise architecture, database management,
and mandatory information compliance policy
guidance.
- Ensuring
that information technology and resources are
planned for, acquired and managed in a manner
that implements the policies and procedures
of legislation.
- Overseeing
and directing the development and implementation
of Enterprise IT projects, including technical
architecture, prototype engineering, full-scale
development requirements creation, capability
development and enterprise deployment. Overseeing
the overall enterprise architecture/information
management framework and records management
strategic directions, and enforcement of technical
standards to achieve interoperability and integration
across the Department’s systems.
