VA's Policy Documents

• The Office of Acquisition and Materiel Management issued an Information Letter on Implementation of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, 1998 Amendments. Also available in MS Word.
• The EIT Undue Burden Exception Determination and Certification is to be completed by the Requiring Official (Purchase Requester). Also available in MS Word.
• Contracting offices that award indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contracts must indicate to ordering offices which supplies and services the contractor indicates as compliant, and show where full details of compliance can be found. Also available in MS Word.
• The Section 508 Determination and Findings for Purchase Requests is to be completed by the Requiring Official (Purchase Requester) and provided to the procurement office. Also available in MS Word.
• Offerors will complete this Vendor Check list in order for the government to determine if there are commercially available products that meet all of section 508 requirements. Also available in MS Word.
