Hometown News lets local newspapers know about your participation and accomplishments in the Games. We prepare individual news releases about any Veteran who completed and signed consent forms and place them, along with a photo, on the Games website where they are available to your hometown media, family and friends.
We hope to have individual releases posted by Thursday; most photos should be online by Friday.
We can never guarantee that media outlets will print the information, but we do our best to make it available to media throughout the country. We also plan to contact local media by email and phone to generate interest in your extraordinary stories and experiences throughout the week.
If you requested a news release, you will receive a copy of it at the end of the week. We also hope to provide each athlete with one printed photograph.
Thank you for allowing us to tell yourcommunity about your participation in the Games this week!
