Terry Gerigk Wolf, FACHE
Director

Terry Gerigk Wolf was appointed
Director of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System on
April 29, 2007. Prior to this appointment, Mrs. Wolf
had served as Director of VA Lebanon since October
17, 2004. Mrs. Wolf was previously the Associate
Director of the three-division VA Pittsburgh
Healthcare System for three years. In this role, she
also served as the Acting Director at VA Butler for
one year.
Mrs. Wolf has a degree in Mechanical Engineering
from the University of California at Davis. She
worked for six years in the health care device
manufacturing industry, until 1987, when she came to
work for the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System as a
biomedical engineer. In 1991 she relocated to VA
Central Office in Washington, DC, where she worked
first in Facilities Engineering, then in Operations,
both in the Office of the Undersecretary for Health.
In 1996 she relocated to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as
the Chief Operating Officer for VA’s newly formed
Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 4. In
this role she was the deputy to the Network
Director, and helped to establish the structure and
operations of VISN 4 in its infancy. She held this
position until 2001 when she moved into her medical
center leadership role at VA Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Wolf participates on a national level in VA as
a member of the National Leadership Board’s Human
Resources Committee. In this committee role she also
serves as a liaison to the Strategic Human Resources
Advisory Council (SHRAC). Mrs. Wolf is board
certified in the American College of Healthcare
Executives, and maintains Fellow status in that
organization. She served on the Board of Directors
of Lebanon County’s United Way organization, and was
a board member of Lebanon’s Rotary Club.
