The
Administrative Council facilitates visionary nursing management through
administrative networking to forecast needs and / or protocols across service
lines. This includes establishing effective relationships with and providing
administrative resource to nursing and administrative leaders across service
lines; providing oversight of all nursing related policies and assuring that the
administrative component is consistent and congruent with policies and
practices; communicating to all nursing staff information as it relates to
specific functional teams and JCAHO standards. The Council Chairperson forwards
information and recommendations to NELC. The Administrative Council Chairperson
is a member of NELC. This Council is Nurse Manager driven and includes
representation from all service lines.
