AMERICAN
STROKE FOUNDATION
The American Stroke Foundation (ASF) was created in 1997 by Kansas City
community leaders, stroke survivors, area health care providers and concerned

came together to bridge the gap between existing services and the needs
of affected individuals and their families. The vision of the American
Stroke Foundation is to improve the quality of life for stroke survivors,
families and caregivers. The mission of the American Stroke Foundation
is to support stroke survivors, their families, caregivers and friends
by providing resources, services, education and information that improves
their quality of life and helps meet ongoing challenges of life after stroke.

in Englewood, Colorado, NSA sustains itself through individual donations,
