Alcohol Monitoring
Alcohol monitoring is a service designed to help Primary Care Clinicians manage patients with drinking levels above recommended limits. Monitoring consists of a brief structured telephone assessment conducted on patients 3 months after an initial BHL interview. The assessments are conducted by HTs and focus on alcohol use and depressive symptoms. No changes in the treatment plan are recommended directly to the patient, but results of the assessment are sent to PCCs to facilitate treatment planning.
