Free parking is available to all patients of the Wilmington VAMC. Patients and visitors to the medical center can park in any of 4 lots located on the hospital grounds, which is right off Kirkwood Highway. Handicap parking is available in the parking lot next to the main entrance as well as in the lot by the nursing home care unit. In addition, parking is available in the VA Regional Office parking lot and near the basement entrance to the hospital on the side of the building. A patient shuttle is generally available to transport patients to the medical center from any parking lot.
