Any copayments due should be paid upon checking out of the medical center. Copayments may be made at the Agent Cashier window in the main hospital building, first floor, Room 1167A.
Veterans who do not make their copayments upon checking out will receive a bill at their address of record within 30 days after their stay or appointment.
If you have any questions about your copay balance, please call the Billing Call Center at 1-866-408-2657 or visit Building 4 on the grounds of our medical center.
Other Health Insurance
The Department of Veterans Affairs now bills private health insurance companies for care received by their enrollees. You should bring your insurance card with you for your appointment and present it during the check-in process. What's in it for me?
Medicare Part D
Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Coverage is wholly voluntary on the part of the participant. Each individual must decide whether to participate based on his or her own circumstance.
VA prescription drug coverage will not change based on your decision to participate in Medicare Part D.
VA prescription coverage is considered by Medicare to be at least as good as Medicare Part D coverage.
