Joseph K.
Joseph enlisted in the Navy after graduating from high school in 2000. He was deployed twice, once to Iraq and once to Afghanistan. After separating from the military, Joseph was eager to pursue higher education, but struggled at first to find a school that was the right fit for him. At the time of his participation in the Photovoice project, he was a student at Delaware County Community College where he had found a supportive environment and discovered his love of photography.
