Center for Compassionate Care Innovation
Office of Community Engagement
The Center for Compassionate Care Innovation (CCI) is a program within the Office of Community Engagement (OCE). The mission of the VHA Office of Community Engagement is to serve as a trusted resource and a catalyst for the growth of effective partnerships at the national, state, and community level and as a facilitator/access point for public and private entities interested in partnering with VHA to benefit Veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors.
VA establishes partnerships to address identified business needs to provide enhanced benefits and services to Veterans and other beneficiaries. These public private partnerships (P3) are mapped to VA’s strategic objectives and priorities. Responsible and productive partnerships expand VA services, increase efficiency, and improve outcomes to Veterans and their family members. By engaging in P3s, Veterans Health Administration meets the challenges of new, urgent, and emerging Veteran needs, often by incorporating creative and innovative ideas from our private sector partners.
VA staff can visit the OCE intranet page for more information and resources on P3: http://vaww.oce.med.va.gov/
