Veterans Experiencing Homelessness
Homeless Evidence and Research Synthesis (HERS)
Homeless Evidence and Research Synthesis (HERS)
The Center developed the Homeless Evidence and Research Synthesis (HERS) Roundtable series in 2015 to convene groups of peer researchers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to discuss research and policy issues surrounding homelessness. Through the use of virtual conferencing and an interactive software platform, the HERS format brings together researchers, policy makers, and service providers, both within VA, other government agencies, and the private sector. After each session, a proceeding document is developed which outlines the research findings presented, policy and/or service delivery issues, and suggested recommendations.
