Subject: SSVF Program Update Friday April 22, 2022
NOTE: This weekly update is targeted towards the SSVF Grantees and shared with valuable partners for awareness.
NEW: SSVF Returns to 40% Maximum Expenditure for Prevention TFA
As of July 1, 2022, SSVF will be returning to regular guidance that limits TFA for homeless prevention to a maximum of 40% of TFA spending. This returns SSVF to its primary focus on placing literally homeless Veteran families into permanent housing. This guidance is also consistent with the Secretary’s goal of placing 38,000 homeless Veterans into permanent housing by the end of 2022. It is expected that 4th quarter grantee expenditures will reflect this change in guidance.
