NEW: Casting
Call for SSVF Veteran Success Story Public Service Announcement
The SSVF Program
Office is partnering with VA Office of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs
(OPIA) to create Public Service Announcements (PSAs) for TV and radio
stations. The purpose of the PSAs is to encourage Veterans who are
homeless or at risk of homelessness to contact VA services for
assistance.
We are looking for
Veterans around the country, including some who are bilingual in Spanish, who
were brought to safety with Emergency Housing Assistance (EHA) or were
prevented from becoming homeless during the COVID-19 pandemic. We need help
identifying Veterans who are representative of our diverse Veteran population,
easy to understand, and could be comfortable on-camera (with a bit of
coaching).
If you have a
Veteran who would be willing and able to participate, please submit below
information to Maxie Pulliam at Maxine.Pulliam@va.gov
by Tuesday, 8/25/20, COB. Please copy your Regional Coordinator to the
communication.
(1) SSVF Agency
Name and Grant ID#

where Veteran was served
(3) Veteran
demographics:
Age

Race/Ethnicity
(4) Bilingual in
Spanish – Yes or No?
(5) Two or three
