Change Request Requirements available in GIFTS
The SSVF Program
Change requirements are now available in GIFTS. All requests for program
changes, including budget modifications, must be submitted to the SSVF Program
Office through the GIFTS grant management system by March 2, 2020.
This requirement
is OPTIONAL and should only be submitted if your agency is requesting a
reportable change to your program or budget. Please review the Program
Change Companion Guide to determine if a Program Change Request is necessary
before submitting the requirement through GIFTS. The Program Change
Companion Guide includes descriptions of the various types of program changes
and is available on the SSVF website at:
https://www.va.gov/HOMELESS/ssvf/docs/SSVF_Companion_Guide_to_Program_Changes.pdf

REMINDER: SSVF
Winter/Spring Regional Meetings
The SSVF Program
Office is encouraging timely registration for the upcoming SSVF Regional
Meeting being held in February and March 2020 at various locations. These
day-long meetings will be specifically targeted to direct service staff and
case managers and will focus on the core practices and service strategies of
SSVF. Grantees are strongly encouraged to prioritize case managers and other
direct care staff to attend this training. In an effort to support as many SSVF
direct service staff as possible, the Program Office is allowing each grantee
to send up to four staff to these events. We also encourage grantees to
consider sending relevant staff from subcontractors. Registration information
is actively being sent to grantees. Hotel and logistics information will
be sent after registration; grantees are encouraged to book travel that allows
staff to stay at the meeting until 4:30 pm on the day of the training, even if
that means the person would leave the following day.
Thank You,
SSVF Program
Office
