In order for
Grantees to receive communications from the SSVF Program Office, contacts will
need to be added to at least the FY2021 approved grant award in SmartSimple.
Please take time to review the pre-recorded webinar titled: “SmartSimple
Grants Management System: Adding Contacts to Grant Awards” which
explains how to add contacts to your current grant awards. Note:
Contacts are added in the Grant file NOT the Organization file. Grant
account owners will need to first add themselves as a Grant Contact and then
may send invitations to others, with designated roles. Access to

ANNOUNCEMENT: Continued
Utilization Under the Federal Stafford Act
As a reminder
to all SSVF Grantees, the SSVF Program Office will continue to function under
the COVID-19 allowances as long as the Federal Disaster Declaration, invoking
the Stafford Act, is still in place. While some states may be ending
their disaster declarations, the Program Office wants to ensure that Grantees
continue to provide these enhanced services. Additionally, SSVF
Grantees will have a 90-day transition period after the Federal Disaster
Declaration ends. If you have any questions or concerns about this
information, please contact your SSVF Regional Coordinator.
UPDATE:
Unannounced Standardized Veterans (USV) Report To Be Distributed by Friday,
June 18, 2021
SSVF Regional
Coordinators are distributing individual Grantee USV “Secret Shopper” reports
via email. The email will include the USV Action Plan template with
instructions on how to complete any action items related to your report. All
Grantees will receive their report no later than Friday, June 18, 2021. The
link to the June 4th Program Manager’s Academy Learning Session,
Customer Service and the Veteran Experience, which describes your report and
action plan requirements further, may be assessed here: https://youtu.be/VD9-13o3D5w.

The SSVF
Program Office in conjunction with Technical Assistance would like to ensure
the ease of access to the Program Manager Academy recordings. As the
Program Manager Academy progresses, new links to the recordings will be
added. Note: Those who registered for each session will also
receive an email with a PowerPoint attachment and a link to the recording as
well.

SSVF 2021 Virtual Program Manager Academy Registration Runs Through June 23,
2021
All SSVF
Program Managers are
strongly encouraged to attend the Program Manager Academy sessions taking place
throughout the month of June, per the schedule below. In addition,
all SSVF Program Managers and Fiscal Staff are strongly encouraged to attend
the Compliance sessions taking place June 21, 2021 - June 23, 2021.
Please
note: New Program Managers,
who have been specifically identified by their SSVF Regional Coordinator, will
also be invited to participate in a post-session workgroup discussion based on
the topic(s) discussed in the larger broadcast sessions. These specific Program
Managers will receive a separate invitation for the smaller group discussions
taking place each afternoon during the Program Manager Academy. The Program
Office will also send additional information that contains pre-reading and
content in the Housing Skills Practice Center that new Program Managers will be
asked to complete prior to or throughout June.

The SSVF
Program Office is pleased to announce the latest content addition to the SSVF
2021 Virtual Program Manager Academy. Three additional Compliance sessions
have been added which will run June 21, 2021 -June 23, 2021. All SSVF
Program Managers and Fiscal Staff are strongly encouraged to attend the
Program Manager Academy sessions.
