NEW: Office Hours calls in November and December- Health Care Navigators

The SSVF Program Office will hold a series of live webinars for the Health Care Navigators beginning November 6, 2020 through December 11, 2020.  These webinars will supplement the pre-recorded training modules available on the SSVF learning management site (LMS) and the SSVF website.  The live webinars will ensure that each Health Care Navigator understands their role and responsibilities in terms of providing services to Veterans.  The live and pre-recorded webinars will also ensure that each Health Care Navigator has a basic understanding of community health care resources, VA health care, VA eligibility and enrollment, and other services available to Veterans.

NEW: Happy Veteran’s Day- Veteran’s Day Discounts

As we approach Veteran’s Day, the SSVF Program Office would like to acknowledge every Veteran who works with us at SSVF.  Thank you for your service to our nation and for your contributions to end and prevent Veteran homelessness.  To help celebrate Veterans and their families, VA has offered a list of Veteran’s Day discounts that may be found here: https://www.blogs.va.gov/VAntage/80347/veterans-day-2020-discounts/

REMINDER: SSVF 2020 Virtual Permanent Housing Conference – Registration is Now Open

SSVF Grantees were sent instructions on October 23rd from our partners at the SSVF@tacinc.org group regarding the two step SSVF 2020 Virtual Permanent Housing Conference registration process.  It is important to review that email regarding registration and obtaining Continuing Education Credits based on event attendance.  Event sessions will run from November 9, 2020 through November 20, 2020 on a variety of topics relevant to your daily work with homeless Veterans.  Note: due to the conference being held virtual, we are strongly encouraging Grantees to support as many staff as possible to attend the event.
