Save the Date SSVF Grantee Regional Meetings

 

Regional Meeting invitations have been sent. If you have not received the information, please contact your SSVF Regional Coordinator. Please note that it is a grantee’s responsibility to not only register for the regional meeting but also to attend as Regional Meetings are required VA trainings.

 

The January SSVF Regional Meetings will focus on SSVF's new Rapid Resolution intervention, including:

•            A Rapid Resolution Introduction and Overview

•            Setting the Stage for Rapid Resolution Planning and Implementation

•            Rapid Resolution System Planning, Expectations and Next Steps

 

This meeting is intended for organizational leadership and supervisory/management staff who are part of the day-to-day operation and service delivery of SSVF, especially those who participate in Veteran Leadership and Coordinated Entry planning groups in your local CoCs. This Regional Meeting will NOT include a full training on Rapid Resolution mediation and conflict resolution practices, though those topics will be addressed briefly. Grantees are encouraged to be strategic about who attends the Regional Meeting based on the topics listed above. The Regional Meeting will combine didactic, small group, and large group work across each of the topic areas.

The SSVF Program Office will provide an overview and update on the Unannounced Standardized Veteran (USV) Project.  The USV quality improvement effort commonly referred to as a “mystery shoppers program” is underway.  The webinar will review survey results to date and discuss implementation of USV including, scoring criteria, common barriers to access discovered during the surveys, as well as recommendations for the field. 

M Davis will present on overall FY18 results, trends, changes from FY 17, and overall analysis of the Participant Satisfaction Survey

The SSVF Program Office has developed an Events Calendar, that is available on the SSVF Website.  The calendar includes key dates for reporting deadlines, data uploading, program changes and webinars.  The Event Calendar may be accessed at the link below:

Important:  Important: Updates to FY 2019 Reporting Processes

 

Quarterly Certification Requirement will be available in the GIFTS grants management system on January 11, 2019 and due on January 22, 2019. This certification covers the first quarter grant period of 10/1/2018 – 12/31/2018 and addresses Compliance with the Final Rule, Grant Agreement, Data Quality, Participant Satisfaction Surveys, Trainings/Webinars, Success Stories and Expenditure Submissions.  

 

Due to the delayed grant resolution process that is currently being completed, the SSVF Program Office will not process second quarter Program Changes.  Program Change requirements will be available for the third quarter grant period in the GIFTS system on May 1, 2019 and will be due on June 3, 2019.
