Hello SSVF Grantees,

We have exciting news – SSVF’s Interim Final Rule (IFR) was published today, November 10, 2021 in the Federal Register at: https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2021/11/10/2021-24496/supportive-services-for-veterans-families

Major changes in this IFR include:

•           Increase in the maximum Shallow Subsidy rate to 50% of rent reasonableness

•           Increase in the maximum allowable hotel/motel stay to 60 days (note that current Stafford Act waivers are still in effect, so this increase has no immediate practical impact)

•           Increase in the General Housing Stability cap to $1,800 with an annual inflation adjustment.

This interim final rule is effective today, November 10, 2021.
