- Research Interests
- Informatics is only useful if the practitioner is skilled at extracting data and understands the clinical relevance. I have spent a career developing clinical, research, and informatics skills and in obtaining and translating clinical data into meaningful and actionable work. I have a personal mission to promote and support unfunded research at the VA. This includes being on the IRB and performing the structured query language (SQL) work for the projects. I am currently involved in seven research projects using SQL and work in VINCI daily.
