- Research Interests
- Dr. Stevenson's research focuses on the affective, cognitive, and behavioral antecedents and consequences of substance use. She uses ecological momentary assessment (EMA) to map these antecedents and consequences at the individual level, creating personalized models for participants that can be used in clinical care. Dr. Stevenson uses causal discovery algorithms to generate models. Dr. Stevenson is also expanding clinical outcomes of interest to chronic pain, long COVID, PTSD, and other chronic mental health and physical conditions.
