Research Interests
Dr. Wan is a physician-scientist whose research interests lie in the epidemiology, phenotyping, genomics, and management of chronic lung diseases, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and non-obstructive lung function impairment. She has been a longstanding investigator with the COPDGene Study, is currently the Principal Investigator of multiple VA Merit Awards leveraging analysis of existing medical imaging data to characterize structural lung disease, and has been a key contributor in characterizing the impact of deployment-related exposures on respiratory health as part of the multi-center Cooperative Studies Program (CSP) 595.
